Delete your account

You can delete your Astrolabe account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it, depending on whether you still have the app installed.

From inside the app

This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately.

1. Open Astrolabe and go to the Profile tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm twice. The second confirmation is the point of no return.

Your account is erased straight away and you are signed out.

If you have already uninstalled the app

Email privacy@tryastrolabe.com from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, and usually within a few days.

We ask you to write from the account's own email address because that is how we confirm the request is really yours. We cannot action a deletion request for an address we cannot verify.

What gets deleted

• Your account and the email address attached to it.
• Your watchlist, including every price and rank alert you set.
• Your seller profile and your AI usage records.
• Any feedback you sent us from inside the app.

What is kept, and why

Two things survive deletion in a form that is no longer linked to you. Usage events and crash reports are kept with the link to your account permanently removed, so what remains is an anonymous record that something happened — for example that a crash affected twelve people — with nothing identifying which people. We keep these because they are how we find and fix problems, and deleting them would not add to your privacy once the link to you is gone.

If you want those anonymous records removed as well, say so in your email and we will remove them.

Your subscription is separate

Deleting your Astrolabe account does not cancel a Google Play subscription, and we cannot cancel it for you. If you have an active Pro or Business plan, cancel it in the Google Play Store first:

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
3. Select Astrolabe and tap Cancel subscription.

Cancelling partway through a billing period does not produce a refund, and you keep access until the period you have paid for runs out.
